We are a very close-knit and friendly organisation where everyone of our 3600 members of staff is valued. We strongly believe that our employees are our greatest asset and so through Listening into Action – our way of engaging staff - we empower everyone at any level to initiate and bring about real improvements in our care.

Crocus Team Home Birth Midwife (Band 6)
This is an exciting opportunity for clinically experienced Band 6 midwives to join an innovative, newly re-modelled home birth service, with some on-call working.
The Crocus Team has been providing an exceptional home birth service to the women of Croydon over the past decade, and is proud to have been home to the RCM/Emma’s Diary Midwife of the Year for London in 2019, as well as being nominated for RCM Team of the Year 2018.
As part of our Maternity Transformation work with Continuity of Carer, we are remodelling our home birth service provision to enable us both to expand our caseload and to improve sustainability and job satisfaction for midwives.
We are looking for highly motivated, clinically experienced and forward thinking midwives with a passion for normal birth and continuity of carer. You will take the lead in antenatal and postnatal care as named midwife for your own caseload of women, and provide rostered intrapartum care for home birth and ‘Domino scheme’ Crocus team women.
This is an excellent opportunity for passionate and dedicated midwives to join a dynamic, trail blazing team and help shape the future of home birth in Croydon.
